The Applications Product Group is a dynamic growing team in China Development Center responsible for Oracle Applications products development ; Applications solution development and implementation. Also to carry out Oracle Applications functional testing in multibyte language environment (Chinese and Japanese).
KEY OBJECTIVE (Outline key/overall objectives of the role)
To build industry solution based on Industry general requirement. To work as a Applications product manager for Applications enhancement development To ensure the high quality of Oracle Applications product before release to market
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES (Outline specific tasks/responsibilities of the role)
· To work as a consultant, gather China industry general requirement through Oracle China industry team and deliver Oracle EBS industry solutions. · To work as a Applications product manager, analyze China/APAC general requirements, build functional design and perform testing to make Applications enhancement development. · Work with HQ's development team, to develop localization of Peoplesoft Enterprise and Oracle EBS. · Be an expert for the Applications products being worked on. · To run product testing process with Oracle global testing methodology.
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE and TRAINING (Indicate the essential experience, qualifications and attributes required to perform this position effectively)
- 3-5 years working experience, at least 2 years in Peoplesoft Enterprise or Oracle Applications.
- BS or MS in Computer, Human Resource, Business Management, Industry Engineering or Operations Research.
- Experience in full life cycle implementation of Peoplesoft Enterprise or Oracle EBS, including:
- Applications functional/core set up;
- Business process/best practices knowledge;
- Business analysis including business process modeling;
- Package implementation/life cycle methodology;
- Functional expertise in any the following areas:
- Payroll, HRMS, Time and Labor, ePay, Benefits etc.
- Project implementation experience of Peoplesoft Global Payroll , Peoplesoft Core HR or Oracle HRMS would be an advantage.
- Experience of requirement definition and function design is a plus.
- Strong analytical, process improvement skills
- Knowledge of Oracle database, PL/SQL, Peoplesoft Tools, People Code
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Quick learner for new technologies.
- Exhibits good project planning and time management skills
