Applications Product Group (APG) Beijing

The Applications Product Group is a dynamic growing team in China Development Center responsible for Oracle Applications products development ; Applications solution development and implementation. Also to carry out Oracle Applications functional testing in multibyte language environment (Chinese and Japanese).

KEY OBJECTIVE

To develop localization products or solutions for China/ APAC market based on Oracle Applications and Peoplesoft Enterprise;
To ensure the high quality of Oracle Applications product before release to market;

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
(Outline specific tasks/responsibilities of the role)

· To make Oracle Applications and Peoplesoft Enterprise localization product or solution development;
· To make technical design, coding and testing based on Oracle standard development process and methodology;
· Be the expert for Oracle and Peoplesoft Development platform and tools being worked on;
· To execute functional testing to ensure the Applications product quality;

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE and TRAINING
(Indicate the essential experience, qualifications and attributes required to perform this position effectively)

• BS or MS in Computer, Business or Industry Engineer
  
• 2-5 years working experience, at least 2 years development in Oracle Applications or Peoplesoft Enterprise;Familiar with Oracle Applications or Peoplesoft Enterprise architecture and object library;
  
• Solid development experience in any the following areas:
  
  • Oracle Database, PL/SQL, Java, Oracle developer Suite, OA Framework;
    
  • PeopleTools, Query/Crystal Power Combo, Application Engine, PeopleCode etc.
    
  • Familiar with Unix/Linux/Windows OS;
    
• Functional experience in any of the following areas is preferred: HRMS/Payroll, Financials, Discrete or Process Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Project Management etc;
  
• Strong system analytical, design, process improvement, testing, and troubleshooting skills;
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English or Japanese;
  
• Quick learner for new technologies;
  
• Exhibits good communication, team work, customer focus and Results orientation;
