POSITION SUMMARY
- Support business development and transactional sales for Oracle Technology solutions by participating in and managing projects that involve Proof of Concepts (POCs), demonstrations, scripts and presentations;
- Architect and deploy technology initiatives that:
- encourage Oracle Technology presales support in the sales cycle,
- empower the Sales Reps,
- enable Oracle partners,
- assist management by driving business development
- Learn and maintain in depth knowledge of Oracle Technology, and transfer such knowledge to other Sales Consultants and Sales Reps.
- Lead the Applied Technologist team to achieve outstanding performance
- Coordinate with other teams for timely solutions of technical and managerial issues;
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- EXPERIENCE
- 6 or more years industry ERP experience required, with good knowledge about business processes in enterprise, such as distribution, manufacture, planning, financial etc. and solid experience of implementing and maintenance
- Sound knowledge in database architecture, designing, and developing; DBA skills valued
- Solid UNIX/Linux background, with Solaris and AIX skills a big plus
- J2EE experience and the minimum of 2 years of Java programming and strong SOA knowledge required
- Compatible interpersonal skills and multi cultural sensitivity essential
- Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing, progressive organisation essential
- Comprehensive knowledge of Oracle's technology products highly valued
- Good knowledge about Oracle EBS architecture, customizing and deploying, with experience of Form, Report, WorkFlow Builder, Portal, and BPEL is highly desired
- Oracle EBS OAF knowledge and skills strongly desired;
- Knowledge and skills in JDE, PeopleSoft, and/or Siebel a strong plus
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Ability to work to a deadline within loose project guidelines required
- Self motivated, desire to learn independently required
- Strong communication, people skills, and training skills required
- Competitive product knowledge is highly regarded
- Fluency in Mandarin and English - essential
