RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Provide pre-sales support for the sales teams as regards Presentations, bid co-ordination, prospect qualification, requirement analysis meetings, product demonstrations and architecture design.
2. Ability to understand and articulate customer business requirements and develop corresponding solution design
3. Configuring applications for prototyping
4. Develop extensions and customization on the SOA product to demonstrate solution fitness to customer¡¯s requirements
5. Creation of sales support materials to represent Oracle SOA capabilities
6. Understand and articulate Oracle SOA value propositions
7. Articulate the total value of Oracle Fusion Middleware suite with SOA, ECM, IDM, BI functionalities
8. Support third party solution partner sales and pre-sales activities
9. Deliver partner support and trainings for Oracle SOA opportunity support
10. Generation of high quality responses to RFIs and RFPs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Exceptional presentational and communication skills with both technical and non-technical personnel.
2. Previous implementation experience on SOA, App Server, Portal Solutions such as BEA Weblogic, AquaLogic, IBM Websphere, Tibco, WebMethods
3. Previous implemenation experience on Middleware solutions
4. Proven track record in a sales support role including 8+ years of pre-sales experience with complex enterprise software solutions
5. Proficiency in the following technologies: HTML, XML, JavaScript and either JSP or ASP as well as web server experience in IIS, IPlanet or Apache
6. Practical experience in as many as possible of: J2EE/EJB, AJAX, SQL, XML, BPEL, C/C++ , Visual Basic, VB Script
7. Extensive knowledge on Industry standards such as WS-* standards, BPEL, SIP, J2EE API etc.
8. Experience working with any of the following major RDBMS systems (no DBA experience required): Oracle, MS SQL*Server (Informix, Sybase and DB2 helpful)
9. Practical experience working with Linux, Unix (Solaris, AIX, HPUX) or Windows 2000/NT
