Position Summary:

The partner community in Asia Pacific is a fast growing, dynamic and vibrant group, which is critical to the Oracle Asia Pacific success. The role of Alliances and Channels (A&C) organisation is to align the Partner and Oracle objectives towards a common goal - resulting in a win-win situation of driving mutual product and services revenues, and margins. Accordingly, A&C has been setup to reflect the diverse requirements of this partner engagement, covering all elements of sales and development.

The Strategy and Operations (S&O) unit works to support the A&C groups in meeting these objectives - across the entire partnering lifecycle of Identification, Recruitment, Development, Go-to-Market and Ongoing Management.

The key role of the Oracle PartnerNetwork Operations (OPN Operations) in S&O unit is to help in running the Alliances and Channels business effectively by localizing the policy and procedures of OPN for APAC, and help in identifying the key strategies and processes to roll out the key initiatives to drive OPN Benefits utilization in APAC. The OPN Operations team also consists of a group of Operations specialists which looks at all the processes of OPN ordering documents, business development initiatives acceptances and a team of Open Market Model (OMM) country managers who review and process the registrations from partners.

Within the OPN Operations team we currently have an exciting position available for an OPN Operations Professional based in Beijing to support the Channel business, OMM practice, as well as portal content in local language for Korea .

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage Partner Standard Distribution Agreement Setup/Renewal

• Set up standard distribution agreement for partners
• Monitor partner agreement renewal
• Work closely with Channel team to ensure distribution agreement is ready for partners reselling Oracle products

Open Market Model (OMM) Country Management for Korea

• Review deal registration, working with Channel team to confirm net-new deals bringing into Oracle
• Process registration to have Sales Representative following up the approved registrations from partners
• Facilitate payment to referral deals
• Line with OPN Interaction Centre and Channel Operations team to effectively and efficiently achieve operational excellence

Drive OPN Portal Content and eMarketing activities in Korean

• Organize global contents translation and content management for OPN Portal in the language of Korean
• Contribute local content post to OPN Portal
• Drive eBlast and Dialog activities around OPN

QUALIFICATIONS:

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:

- Minimum 6 years experience in IT industry

- Minimum 3 years experience in areas of operations or relavant functional area

- Minimum 2 years experience in areas of using applications/systems

ESSENTIAL:

- Original Korean speaker

- Fluent in English

- Bachelors Degree

- Proficient communication capability

- Strong drive to deliver better results

DESIRABLE:

- Knowledge of Oracle organization

- Understanding of Oracle products and services
