Location: Beijing

You will be involved in a broad range of projects, including:

• fraud and misconduct investigations, including suspected bribery and corruption
• forensic technology
• giving evidence in legal proceedings
• analyzing vast quantities of data
• tracing assets

Responsibility:

• Evaluate internal control system and financial information system.
• Based on engagement memo, perform special investigation project fieldwork independently;
• Prepare audit program, complete substantive audit tests and evaluate results
• Accurately document work performed, audit observations, and conclusions in accordance with work ing paper
• Assist to perform risk a ssessment, interpreting information received to carry out audit p lan. Stay in contact with internal customers and external parties to ensure fieldwork is completed within time frame
• Assist to conduct interviews with related parties.
• Conduct forensic disk imaging and searches relating to imaged data

Requirements:

• Solid experience of business process and internal operational audits. Forensic work experience is desired.
• Good understanding of internal control and corporate governance concept. Hands on experience of internal audit review. Internal control or SOX related experience preferred
• Minimum 4 Years related working experience, including Big Four audit, forensic accounting and/or financial investigations experience;
• CPA/CIA/CFE/CISA qualification preferred
• Good communication skill in English. Oracle system knowledge is preferred.
• Familiar with business and accounting practices in the IT sector in China
• Demonstrate proactive thinking and problem solving, self-motivation and possess an enquiring mind.
• Self-motivated with the willingness and enthusiasm to learn new technical and investigative skills and to apply these accurately and appropriately.
• Ability to focus on detail, work methodically and communicate effectively with others
• Willingness to work overtime when necessary. Candidates will need to display a flexible attitude to working and be prepared to work on projects throughout the Asia Pacific region.
