The British Council, operating in China as the Cultural and Education Section of the British Embassy, is inviting applications for the post of Finance Senior Officer / Accountant of Global Shared Service - Asia Pacific Hub . As a member of the Global Shared Services Hub, the post holder will primarily provide finance service for East Asia and China regions, covering 14 country operations.

Main duties

• Supervise teams to provide accounts payable, banking and cash operations in timely and efficient manner.
• Provide leadership for financial system for Account Payable and Cash Operations in a SAP environment supporting shared service to multiple countries using multiple currencies.
• Participate in risk assessment and prepare reports to engage senior management.
• Develop performance standards and monitors performance to the standards of service agreements.
