Main Responsibilities:

Organization and Management of Business Partnering Value Flow Production

• Team Member in the Business Partnering Value Flow Production.
• Coordination with other departments of BMS as well as other areas

Local core functions

• Harmonization value flow production (monthly product calculation, calculation of standard prices, inventory valuation with IAS (Inventory calculation), cost center accounting for production cost centers)
• Professional preparation of issues arising from cost accounting, product accounting, inventory valuation
• Support of changes regarding value flow and advice concerning effects on profit accounting
• Consulting the BU’s on value flow related manufacturing topics

Product Costing / Overhead Management

• Support of changes regarding value flow and advice concerning effects on product costing and profit accounting
• Consulting of all organizational units on issues arising from overhead management in the area of production
• Consulting on standard price changes and determination of changes in inventory and result caused by price changes
• Design / Explanation of the value flows
• Deviation analysis and explanation of reports
• Handling and Involvement in the closing activities in cooperation with Accounting Coordinator
• Consulting and support on cost center planning
• Coordination of error handling on product costing and closing
• Monitoring on standard prices and initiating of corrections
• Consulting on issues concerning stock management and value flow

Qualifications & Experience:

• University degree or comparable knowledge of the local accounting regulations
• Minimum 3 years professional experience in external accounting (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets) as well as Cost Accounting, especially Product Costing and Inventory Valuation and Legal Entity Controlling
• Knowledge of the relevant accounting and controlling processes in a Legal Entity
• Detailed Knowledge of International Accounting Standards
• SAP IT-Knowledge of the subgroup accounting systems is preferred
• Knowledge of the SAP FI-GL, FI-AA, CO-OM, CO-PC, IM, PS modules and basic knowledge of the preceding and succeeding modules e.g. CO-PA and EC-PCA is preferred
• Good command of English skill in written and spoken
• Competence to grasp an overview of complex subject matters and to deduce operational activities
