Job Description:
- Review the product functional specifications for g11n related architecture validity and identify the g11n related areas to come up with the test specification and coverage plan.
- Certify the product globalization features on operating systems/hardware platforms with different language/locale.
- Work with the product support team to diagnose, reproduce and debug g11n related customer issues.
- Use Siebel defect tracking system to log and track product defects.
- Apply localization engineering methodology to come up with innovative localization solutions.
- Add to g11n knowledge base FAQ’s, workarounds, tools, and solutions to facilitate using the products.
- Build and test localized resources against base products.
- Minimum of 3 years industry experience in software and solution development with extensive Java and Object-Oriented programming experience. - Working knowledge of globalization methodologies. - Experience with Unicode standard and different encoding methods. - Very familiar with java’s internationalization features. - Experience with Database technologies – RDBMS, SQL language, Oracle, MSSQL, JDBC. - Basic programming skills of java and Unix Shell scripts. - Experience Web Servers (Apache), Application Servers (BEA Weblogic, Apache Tomcat). - Experience on projects utilizing full life-cycle system delivery methodologies. - Experience with Unix (Sun Solaris, HP-UX, Linux, or IBM AIX) and MS Windows platforms. - Enterprise software experiences, especially ERP, BPM, CRM, a plus. - Excellent team player and individual contributor. - Good written and verbal communication skills. - B.S. in Computer Science (M.S. in Computer Science preferred). - Fluency in one or more European languages, French preferred. 联系方式：tib_bj@vanceinfo.com 联系方式：
