Job Description:

Candidate will be responsible for (i) mentoring and guiding a team of test and support engineers; (ii) designing high level test documents; and (iii) interacting with and TIBCO Quality Assurance (“QA”) managers at the TIBCO Mississauga facility and Project managers and QA at TIBCO’s Palo Alto facility. 

·        Guide Provider QA engineers to identify test requirements for the product features being developed

·        Analyze functional specifications and guide Provider test team to create test plans and develop test specifications

·        Analyze functional and regression testing results

·        Work with Provider support team to include customer scenarios in the test suites and to resolve customer issues

·        Develop automation test suites

·        Update on test progress

 Skills Required:

§     (i) MS in Computer Science with 3-6 years of experience; or BS in Computer Science, with experience deemed by TIBCO to be equivalent to MS in Computer Science; and (ii) 5years of experience in QA

§     3-5 years experience in

o       OS/390, z/OS and USS

o       White box and black box testing

o       C/COBOL optionally Java/ Shell Scripts 

o       JCL, Batch, TSO and CICS

o       Deployment of QA tools (please qualify during interview)

§     1-3 years experience in

o       Leadership role in QA team

o       Unix (Solaris, Linux) and Windows 2003 and XP

o       Senior QA Engineer

§     Software Methodology/standards-related experience in

o       Developing and maintaining test plans and test specifications

o       Working with a defect tracking system and source control system

o       Designing and developing test suites

o       Developing a clear and concise testing strategy

§     General

o       Excellent written and verbal communication skill in English

o       Excellent analytical and communication skills

o       Team player
