Major Duties:
Ø Lead Marketing team, and build local marketing capability in the Region;
Ø Work with Headquarter leadership to develop annual market demand volume forecast, market /industry/ economic assumption in support of Business Plan;
Ø Coordinate regional market/sales plan development with GM, Global Marketing Director to ensure proper identification and selection of market opportunities, and execution of marketing initiatives for expanding volume;
Ø Manage marketing initiatives within China focused on expanding vocational & market knowledge within the region;
Ø Lead AAP forecasting, market research and data analysis;
Ø Interface with Manager, International Marketing Services and Communications to ensure alignment of Asia Marketing and Selling initiatives with Marketing Services initiatives such as events, tradeshows, marketing collateral, branding and communication;
Ø Support all AP related Marketing Communication with selected PR Agencies, including press releases, media releases, testimonials, advertisements etc;
Ø Identify and quantify targeted markets for new products, and lead development of marketing specifications for new products required for Asian markets;
Ø Lead strategy for Asia bus, fuel efficiency and related initiatives;
Ø Participate in the Sales counsel to evaluate market opportunity & Product Development Plan for new application. New products and new features that will drive incremental volume and revenue growth;
Ø Develop, maintain and manage the Asia Pacific sales promotion, advertising and marketing budget through close coordination with regional leadership and Finance Manager;
Requirements:
Ø Bachelors Degree or above, Preferred: MBA will be an added
Ø Minimum 8years in marketing or sales leadership role.
Ø Experience in FMCG or durable goods related fields;
Ø Experienced in Product marketing
Ø Customer centric, growth driven. Strong ability to guide & influence channels and bond with customers at all levels;
Ø Self-starter and fast learner with strong ability to energize and inspire others, lead by example.
Ø Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both listening and presentation;
Ø Strong organizations skills and disciplined work ethic;
Ø Willingness to travel extensively as required to achieve objectives;
Ø High proficiency in English and Chinese languages, both spoken and written. Additional language, like French preferred;
Ø Experience in developing and managing marketing communications;
