职位描述/要求：
Primary Function:
This position is responsible for facilitating supplier APQP activities, on-site PPAP verification at supplier, process sign-off, and working with supplier on supplier development opportunities
Essential Functions:
- Lead, coordinate, and manage the APQP process with suppliers and LCC team.
- Witness and approve PPAP documentation and part dimensional layout at suppliers
- Verify and approve the supplier’s process controls as a part of PPAP approval at suppliers.
- Guide and work closely with suppliers on supplier development opportunities such as Quality Systems, Process Controls, Six Sigma, Lean, 8-D, FEMA, Control Plan, PPAP, etc
- Leads problem solving and root cause analysis activities in order to eliminate recurrence of non-conformances at suppliers.
- Publishing & communicating APQP implementation and PPAP approval against goals.
- Work as liaison between suppliers and internal functions/plants (Engineering, Plants, Operations, etc.) to clarify requirements, eliminate confusion, and improve definition of requirements.
Dimensions:
Responsible for supplier APQP and successful PPAP submission and approval of $2-3mil of sourcing projects.
Specialized Knowledge:
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Industrial Engineer or other similar engineering fields. Master of Science will be a plus.
- 5 years of Supplier Quality Development experience in Automotive industry.1 year of hands-on experience with complex dimensional layout.
- Excellent communication skills in local language and English (written & verbal)
- Through understanding of manufacturing processes such as Castings, CNC machining,Multi-spindle machining, etc.
- Through knowledge of Quality systems, methods and practices; QS 9000, APQP, FMEA,Control Plan, PPAP and MSA
- Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) and Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) is preferred
