Job Description:
Business Systems Analyst: Gain an understanding of the current state of business processes and identifying and applying effective business analysis to implement business improvement using innovation, knowledge and IT solutions. Performs product testing and software evaluation as part of a team. Assists with analysis of business system related issues. Performs software training for end users and participates as part of a business system implementation team. Works to develop detailed technical understanding of existing applications as well as the customers business. Act as a liasion between the implementation team and remote support groups during implementations.
Provide gap analysis for as-is and to be processes and communicate to management.
The mission of the Application Analyst is to facilitate the use of existing or purchased application packages by the business functional users; to analyze business processes and recommend process changes and improvements that exploit the capabilities of the application software. The Application Analyst works directly with the business functions to analyze current processes and recommend process improvement and/or appropriate application software to support the business requirements.
Job Requirements:
Four-year degree or higher; with 1-3 years of IT experience, must have analysis skills and leading edge/master of conventional technology skills. Programming skill will be beneficial but not esssenal Must have general knowledge of business process and manufacturing and distribution operations. Prefer to have at least 1 year of Mfg/Pro or Oracle ERP Manufacturing experience, preferably in an implementation environment. Must have excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Mandarin Chinese and an excellent team player. Must be prepared and willing to travel up to 40% depending on the needs of the customer.
