Eaton Corporation located in shanghai,China has an opening for Associate Analyst - Treasury PRIMARY FUNCTION: Provide a comprehensive cash management & FX service within Asia Pacific in support of operational and corporate objectives. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: A. Collect basic cash balance & marketable securities information on monthly basis from operations in the region and prepare the monthly report in the existing format and submit to Asia Pacific Cash Manager. B. Constantly monitor the cash pooling position in China, India, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Alert supervisor when there is an irregular cash movement. Collect & and analyze short term investment information from India, Singapore, Australia pooling structure so Asia Pacific cash manager can make the right decision to execute investment. C. Collect & update bank accounts information for the region on quarterly basis and put into Bank Administrator software system. D. Collect & analyze bank fees information for the region on quarterly basis. Provide bank fee reduction proposal whenever possible to her supervisor. E. To learn & master the CitiDirect online banking software system and keep the most update authorizers information in the Bank Administration System. F. To learn & print & understand the FX exposure information from the RSD report in the Encore System. G. To learn & master Citibank.com functionality. H. Liaison with Shanghai & other City SAFE to make inquiries on various issues such as foreign debt registration, repayment, dividend reinvestment application, dividend repatriation. I. Enter FX transaction, intercompany loan and short term investment information into Treasury Quantum System. J. Communicate with China Share Service Center (CSSC) on regularly basis to provide any treasury assistance & report any issues back to Asia Pacific Treasury Operation Manager. K. To learn Eaton’s SOX compliance procedures for Asia Pacific Treasury then provide quarterly update to Asia Pacific Cash manager or directly with HQ's SOX team. JOB CONTEXT The macroeconomic environment in China & Asia Pacific region presents Eaton with both significant risks and rewards. It is envisaged that we will provide comprehensive on-job training to this Junior Analyst in her first year at job to fully grasp the basic Treasury functions and process. We shall expect her to provide high quality reports after 3-6 months in the job and start to handle some of the basic Treasury routine process after 6-9 months in the job. SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE: 1. Excellent computer skill, strong in Word, Excel, Power Point. 2. Excellent communicate skill and outgoing personality. 3. Fluent in both written and oral English. 4. High level of numeracy. 5.
