职位描述/要求:
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Manages the overall Eaton University (EU) regional campus operation for China. Serves as a liaison between WHQ and China regional clients and other satellite EU campuses. Works closely with regional clients to analyze training needs and performance gaps and to identify the best solutions (both training and non-training) to address those gaps. Also provides high-level instructional design consultation to clients when training/learning is the appropriate solution. Keeps close to internal business needs by actively developing and managing internal client relationships. Shares learning, training, and performance improvement “best practices” with regional clients and other EU campuses.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
A. Builds and manages relationships with China business unit and functional leaders (as well as Eaton University WHQ) in order to identify learning programs and solutions required to support business needs. This includes number, type, locations, etc. of programs.

B. Leads and supports the Education Coordinator team and other regional campus staff (including establishing goals, conducting performance reviews, developing learning plans, and day-to-day problem-solving).

C. Conducts learning needs assessments and provides instructional design and/or performance improvement consultation and communicates learning “best practices” to regional clients and to Level 2 satellite campuses

D. Manages multiple training, learning, and/or performance improvement projects to address business problems.

E. Evaluates (and regularly reports to Eaton University WHQ and regional leadership) Eaton University program effectiveness. This includes monitoring survey data, identifying trends, and taking correction action including working with subject-matter experts and/or vendors to update program content.

F. Manages the delivery of Eaton University programs including the identification, certification, and overall management of instructors (internal volunteers and external vendors). This includes keeping the skills of the instructors current as well as developing ways to reinforce and “incent” instructors on a continuous basis.

G. Identifies and leverages preferred, local content vendors to address specific regional training needs. Identify and negotiate regional/ national vendor contracts where applicable to leverage growing employee base.

H. Administers budgeting process including annual profit planning, monthly forecasting, and departmental budget tracking.

I. Communicates regional business plans, learning needs, and requests back to the central EU organization at WHQ.

J. Represents and communicates Eaton University philosophy, strategy, and brand, as well as corporate requirements and mandates to regional leaders and to other satellite campuses.

DIMENSIONS:
This position will have program management responsibility for China regional learning initiatives. The position responsibilities will include working closely with regional internal clients to help them achieve critical business objectives important to the Eaton Corporation in China. The work this position will perform will directly and indirectly impact the performance of Eaton employees in the China region resulting in significant cost savings and revenue generation.
 
 
 
Requierments:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, organizational development, business administration, and/or instructional design. Masters degree preferred. Experience working in at least 1-2 international/ multinational corporations. Ability to speak and communicate fluently in Chinese as well as English. Expertise in project management, training/teaching materials and techniques, basic instructional design, evaluation strategies, tools, and reports. Client relationship management skills. Consulting skills. Facilitation skills. Strong leadership skills and business acumen.
