职位描述/要求:
Job Description / Mission:
 
Primary responsibilities include:
 
1.      Champion new product development programs, including voice of the customer research, establishing target costs, creating the master specification and project justification.  Actively participate in project meetings and coordinate the product launch.
2.      Create the strategic plan for the product line.
3.      Work with Communications personnel to develop and maintain product specifications, literature, presentations, video, animation and case studies.
4.      Review and approve customer specials and own the upper level product configuration, implementing product changes as the market requires.
5.      Develop and maintain product pricing.
6.      Participate in design reviews associated with the product line.
7.      Work with the CC BLM to establish sales and profit targets for the line, and monitor performance.
8.      Track product line market share.
9.      Develop and maintain sales tools in conjunction with Aftermarket for production and operating cost estimation.
10.  Monitor and record key industry trends that can impact the product line.
11.  Research competition and perform competitive analysis.  Maintain a portfolio of competitor information along with competitive comparisons for the sales force.
12.  Host customer visits to the factory.
13.  Create product training materials and perform training for CC personnel and internal employees.
14.  Visit customers as required to support the sales process, study our equipment, evaluate competitive equipment and see new technology.
15.  Develop customer surveys and disseminate the input.
16.  Assist CC BLM’s in building a local sales & marketing strategy,
17.  Act as a facilitator between the PC and the CC to enable a smooth business process, providing technical information and pricing related to capital equipment.
18.  Work with Production and Engineering to handle all complete machine order activity in the region, including review of all orders to ensure accurate pricing, terms and specification.
19.  Review financial performance of CC and participate in Business Review Meetings.
20.  Communicate product and business related information between the PC and the CC.
21.  Compile forecast input from the region and determine distribution of production slots allocated to region.
 
Reporting:
This position reports to the Operations Manager, with dotted line reporting to the Drilling Solutions VP of Marketing in Garland.
 
 
Experience requirements:
You will be expected to have a minimum of five years of sales or related industry experience, together with a working knowledge of surface drilling applications.  You will be required to travel periodically (up to 25% of the time). 
 
Educational requirements:
A degree in engineering is preferred.
 
Personality requirements:
You must be able to co-operate with colleagues in numerous other functions. You must be trustworthy and reliable in order to safeguard the interests of the company in a highly competitive environment.  Due to the sales nature of this position, this individual must be assertive with strong written and verbal communication skills.
 
Location:
This position is based in Nanjing.
