Position Summary

We are searching for a strong Lead developer working on software development on Adobe’s product. The position is mix of his/her focus 30/40/30 on project management/design/coding and may extend the career in the future to next level as engineering manager who works more on feature/business and people management.

Work Scope includes:

• Supports engineering manager to make project plan and offers solid support on project implementation and execution.
• Responsible for the designing, developing, troubleshooting and debugging of software programs for software enhancements, new products, and code libraries.
• Using current programming language and technologies, writes code, completes programming, and debugging of software.
• Interacts with customers to define requirements and identify necessary modifications.
• Communicates clearly with the team and management to achieve goals.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• 5+ years experience in software development with at least 2 years as project lead with solid project management skills.
• Strong knowledge and practice at software development process & methodology, like CMM, Agile, RUP, XP, etc.
• Strong experience on C++ or Java development; and Actionscript/Flex is highly desired;
• Strong design background on up-to-date web and desktop software product , familiar with UML, OOA/OOD, design pattern;
• Experience on Embedded or Consumer Electronic Software Development is also a plus.
• Good organizational and negotiation skills, excellent English verbal and written communication skills;
• BS degree is required, advanced degree is desirable.
