Objectives: This role as the DCS CHG Sales / Account Manager has a primary focus on establishing a close relation with the clients –foremost PetroChina, Sinopec, CNOOC-- and the service delivery organization. Clear understanding of the business strategy from pricing, products and competitors is a key directive.
The sales / account manager has a long term goal related to the creation and development of a structured sales capability for DCS in North Asia, in order to fulfill DCS’ triple role of acquisition support, solution delivery and consulting services provision. The role is responsible for creating sales opportunities that will support, accelerate or enhance the delivery of DCS support, services and solutions to our clients.
Main Tasks:
o Support & facilitate sales and marketing strategy of all DCS services in North Asia, namely China, Japan, Korea and Taiwan.
o Defines sales goals along with Management and coordinates specific sales plans for the promotion of existing services and the introduction of new services, and makes corresponding follow-up effective
o Makes regular client visits and follow-up with Operations Management, CS / DS managers and project managers in order to monitor client evaluation of service quality and to keep informed about client plans, initiatives and problems.
o Develops, strengthens and maintains good client relations in order to be in a position to identify client business needs
o Monitors the price structure and pricing levels, recommending all necessary changes and appropriately presents price increases to Customers.
o Establish and maintain a sales pipeline
o Prepare monthly sales reports listing opportunities, sales opportunities, won / lost projects, and competition information
o Ensures that all operations are covered by legally sound client contracts
o Supports the reduction of DSO (DIR/FOR)
o Attends to his/her personal development in such a way that he/she keeps well informed of all matters concerning Interpretation and Marketing / Sales techniques. Develops new business and alliances.
o Support and / or lead the tender and proposal process for DCS North China
o Coordinates plan and conducts client seminars and in-house seminars
o Contributes significant to CRM KSI and facilitates the use of CRM within DCS
o Application of prices listed in the global DCS price book and support of pricing strategies
o Introduces the DCS strategy and sales plans and coordinates solutions proposals with segments
o Develops and maintains a close relationship with other segments in the CHG GM

Education: Graduate Engineer
Experience: 10+ years technical experience with exposure to sales / marketing role
