PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ÿ           Manage and oversee the sourcing operation for China.

Ÿ           Implement the global sourcing process in China at execution level.

Ÿ           Leverage spending, technology, and supplier relationships to obtain the best value.

Ÿ           Set goals and objectives, and performance metrics for the dept., and lead the team to achieve high efficiency and effectiveness.

Ÿ           Interface with the relevant departments to understand their needs, secure materials supply to satisfy their business needs. 

Ÿ           Drive for continuous improvement and cost saving.

Ÿ           Take on the assigned tasks to support sourcing in platform. 

EDUCATION KNOWLEDGE, SKILL & ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:

Ÿ           Bachelor or Master Degree majored in Engineering/Material Science.

Ÿ           A minimum of 8 years solid experience in purchasing activities and dealing with China and overseas suppliers.

Ÿ           Similar working experience in international company.

Ÿ           Strategic thinking with strong business acumen. Ability to create/drive change.

Ÿ           Ability to lead, coach, and influence direct reports.

Ÿ           Strong influencing skills with the ability to operate effectively at all organizational levels.

Ÿ           Mature personality, self-disciplined and honest.

Ÿ           Excellent interpersonal and communication skill.

Ÿ           Fluent English and Chinese both verbal and written.

Ÿ           Work independently and in a rapid change environment, taking responsibility for delivery of business expectations.

Ÿ           Open-minded, adapted to cross culture organization.
