职位描述/要求:
Reporting to: Assistant Manager, Technical Operations

Job Objective:
The Sales Engineer (SE) contributes to the achievement of sales objectives in China by ensuring that channel partners are equipped to position, sell, and integrate Zebra solutions that best meet application needs.
SE has three primary areas of responsibility:
(1) provide presale technical/application/software assistance for Zebra channel partners and end users in support of targeted account sales objectives;
(2) serve, typically through a project’s installation phase, as a key liaison between partners, end-users and Zebra to address systems related business issues;
(3) drive field sales’continuing product and application expertise trough coordination and presentation of sales tools and training programs; and
(4) protects and maintains Zebra's installed base of printers by conveying Zebra’s product features, advantages, and benefits when called upon to keep competition from penetrating the account.

 
Key Responsibilities:
• Serves as the key technical/application specialist for Zebra High performance,
mid-range, desktop, mobile labeling and card printing solution. Develops relationship and works extensively with channel partners, end users and major
systems integrators to asses needs, position, and integrate Zebra solutions in
targeted sales projects. Works with VARs and manages application specific Zebra
deliverable including networking, connectivity, and ZBI configurations.
• The incumbent also plays a significant role in replacing competitive printer
installations with a Zebra solution.
• This position also serves as the product and technical liaison with Product
Managements and Engineering in the design of customer specific products. With
the application solution focus of Zebra, this position plays an integral role in
identifying applications, developing solutions and making recommendations to
both resellers and end-users.

Key Competences:
• B.S in engineering and computer
• Very good communication & presentation skills
• Good understanding of retail & logistic working process, requirement and solution.
• Two or more years in a sales support or software engineering role in a high-tech organization.
• Have strong knowledge of Windows operating system (Win95/98/NT/2000/XP/Vista), Windows Mobile system(WM2003, WM5.0/6.0).
• Effective presentation skills and technical writing skills.
• Have good programming experience in either C/C++, VB, JAVA. Solid understanding of Auto-ID applications/solutions, thermal/thermal transfer printing, networking, label generation software, applications software, LAN/Host connectivity.
• Ability to converse and write in English is highly desirable
