Summary: the incumbent is responsible for analyzing retail financial information and assessing the risk of offering credit to individuals.

Job Responsibilities

• Facilitating the accurate and timely settlement of the loan while ensuring compliance with credit policy guidelines
• Processing customer credit worthiness verification and making recommendations for loan approval and terms
• Responding to inquiry and research requests via various resources, especially through the phone call, home visit report, web checking and credit bureau report etc.
• Interacting with sales team, risk management team, and finance team as needed for loan maintenance and/or troubleshooting
  
• Developing reports on credit proposals
  
• Developing and improving the quality of credit submissions
  
• Keeping up to date with issues that may affect credit decisions
  
• Staying informed about the legal, compliance and market-risk-related issues involved in the approval of credit

Job Requirements

• A degree holder in Finance or related discipline
  
• Minimum of 2~3 years of experience in banking or finance related environment
  
• Related credit control experience is preferred
  
• Strong analysis skills and problem solving skills
  
• Excellent interpersonal, team-working and communication skills
  
• A high standard of personal integrity and decisiveness
  
• Fluent in English and Mandarin (both written and spoken)
  
• Strong computer literacy
