JOB PURPOSE
The jobholder is expected to support the sales force of a distributor by managing accounts, opening new accounts and maximizing the consumer volume of the designated area.
JOB RESPONSIBILITY
·To support the sales force of a distributor by managing accounts, opening new accounts and maximizing the consumer volume of the designated area. ·Achievement of the budgeted volume by maximizing sales through existing customers of distributors and acquisition of new accounts for CVO & PCO. ·Support the assigned distributor(s) in terms of managing sales team(s) and the collection of outstanding amongst customers.
( communicating terms, territory, price structure, promotions, etc. )
·Train the distributors sales force in field visit routines, promotions and collection of outstandings, justification of Castrol price structure. ·Keep a close relationship with all customers, provide excellent service and recommend ways to secure longer term sales of Castrol products and develop the customers ' business. ·Gather relevant market intelligence and identify new business opportunities. ·Report regularly the day to day matters, follow the instructions regarding the reporting system/sales management system and keep record of customer ' s data. (customer profiles, field visit record, weekly sales updates must be accurate, prompt and punctual)
JOB REQUIREMENTS
·Educated at university level minimum ·2-3 years direct sales to retail outlets ·Negotiation, influencing skills ·Self motivated, independent
