JOB PURPOSE
Develop customer insight, identify opportunity and segment/channel strategy to grow the volume and margin in selected segments/channel;
Initiate distinctive and innovation offer based on different segment/channel customer needs to address business opportunities
Lead and manage the implementation and execution of segment/channel marketing plans for selected channel/segments.
Monitor and report the results of the implementation of plans under his/her responsibility.
MAIN ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Customer understanding
Conduct research to understand customer insight and identity opportunity area in selected segment;
Collect market information relating to selected segment/channel to build a robust database for business analysis;
- Segment/channel related
Develop distinctive and innovative offers to specific segment/channel in framework including product mix, service/price offer and, proposal format;
Develop segment/channel strategy to generate incremental volume and total profit in specific segment/channels;
Develop guideline, principle and implementation tools to help execution of marketing plan. e.g. sales kit, merchandising tools and guideline, customer activation ideas;
Set up KPI of PU marketing program, keep tracking of the implementation and spending, and conduct the regular progress report;
Work with asset staff to implement segment/channel plan and share learning across PU;
Work with other PU functions to lead the development and update the business model by segment/channel including value chain, ROI based on asset historical data and set up a benchmark for segment business further improvement;
- Coach/develop assets marketing capability
Work as a segment team leader to overall manage the segment business development, take initiatives, coordinate functional teams, coach sales and marketing staff, and develop segment expertise within LPG China;
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
Customer insight - strong ability to identify appropriate research methodology and interpret data with respect to a segment, market, customer, or application area – skilful application;
Customer offer development – strong ability to develop offers for segment customers basing on in-depth knowledge of the customers' wants and needs and applying these to ensure profitability realization. Identifies programs to support continual customer satisfaction;
Strategy development – uses the knowledge of current strategy, market trends and customer analysis to provide input into a strategy development process – skilful application;
Promotion/campaign management - strong ability on customer promotion/campaign development, execution, performance review based on rich experience – skilful application;
Brand management – strong ability to manage and promote BP brands in order to gain brand loyalty with customers – skilful application;
EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS.
6+ years of sales and marketing experience of which preferably over 3 years in FMCG or industrial marketing; Trade marketing and brand management experiences highly preferred
Bachelor degree;
Strong analytical skills

Strong communication & influencing skills
Fluent in both oral and written English
