Job Title: Lab Technician
Job Type: Full-time, Contractor for 12 months

Working Location: Taicang
Business Unit: Industrial Lubricants Service (ILS)

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for incoming raw material QC checking.
• To carry out testing methods on product samples in accordance with industry standards, such as ASTM and IP;
• To operate in a safe, tidy and efficient style and ensure that records and retained samples are clearly labeled and stored in a well-organized manner.
• Responsible for in-process sample testing.
• Cooperate with lab chemist to investigate the root cause of failed product and raw material.
• To monitor the consumption of chemical reagents and other consumables in the laboratory and inform the QA/QC Manager when stocks need to be replenished.
• Follow the HSSE procedures of the laboratory, report unsafe condition and take action to correct it.
• Need to run shifts.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years QC experience in manufacturing plant. Big state o wned company or multinational business environment is preferred.
• Bachelor degree or above with major in Analytical chemistry or related field.
• Basic English.
