Business Unit : China Supply Chain, iGSC

JOB PURPOSE

• For supervising different transport modes including packed, bulked etc in East China
• For Leading suppliers to meet Bp HSSE standard and Logistics KPIs
• For Ensuring all the delivery actions of 3PL are within BP HSSE .
• For optimize distribution network in East China to reduce DSS risk and save cost.
• For developing & transitioning secondary distribution processes to comply with the Integrated Global Supply Chain.
• For working with Primary distribution team to coordinate the direct delivery from the plants;
• For supervising DG inventory and transportation in East China and ensure all operations complying with China regulations and BP Policy.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

• Manage and monitor the performance of contractors;
• Push compliance of Golden Rules in daily logistics operations;
• Train 3PL to raise their awareness on HSSE and service;
• Work with 3PL to manage secondary distribution in East China;
• Monitor and verify KPIs of 3PL to make logistics operations smooth;
• Engage, coach and audit 3PL to achieve BP's HSSE standard requirements in all their operations
• Monitor daily transportation in East China including road delivery, sea transportation, railway transportation, ISO tank etc ;
• Ensure unloading service should comply with BP HSSE Policy;
• Optimize transportation routes to reduce DSS risk and save cost.
• Handle complaints from customers or distributors;
• Work with 3PL, responsible for daily operations of DG including dispatching, receipting, storage & handling and transportation activities
• Complete & update ISO 9000 documents of storage, delivery, loading and unloading etc to ensure integrated operations of iGSC
• Coordinate with primary distribution team to complete direct delivery from plants and inter-depot transfer from East China warehouse;
• Work with East China warehouse to smooth goods pick-up process on site;

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor degree is preferred
• Experienced and knowledge in logistic operations
• Familiar with transport modes of chemical goods
• Experienced in DG operation including warehousing and transportation.
• Basic knowledge of chemical goods handling
• Good commercial aptitude;
• A good team player
• Basic understanding of road transportation law is desirable
• Ability to work in rapidly changing environment, and prioritize duties accordingly
• Be able to work under pressure whilst paying attention to detail
• Self motivated individual who is able to work with minimum supervision.
• Ability to adapt to various situations, be able to understand problems, evaluate and make decisions quickly
• Good interpersonal skills, including self-confidence and resilience, when required to work in a pressurized environment
• Good analytical and PC skills
• Good oral and written communication skills in English.
