The Branch Manager's objective is to achieve the Retail Banking business goals for the overall benefit to our shareholders, clients & associates. The Branch Manager's key driver is growth in a Branch through balanced performance by reducing expenses, increasing revenue, maintaining key business/client relationships, building the business through referrals, recruiting quality team members and creating a climate which fosters superior banking experience & creating the Citibanker Difference.
Responsibilities:
1. FINANCIALS / BUSINESS RESULTS
Ensure Branch goals and targets are met, including:
Creatively and successfully leverage resources to cross sell produce better than expected results and have strong working relationships inside & outside the Branch.
2. RISK AND CONTROL
Maintain acceptable operating standards with particular attention paid to quality of work, cost efficiencies, compliance with institutional policies and procedures, and local regulations.
Demonstrate track record of delivering results while balancing risk management issues, understand the risks associated with all sales channel/product lines and make smart business decisions.
Utilize audit/control process to keep fraud/operating losses at a minimum without affecting sales process and maintain/improve overall level of client satisfaction.
3. PEOPLE / PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT
Demonstrate strong leadership and people skills by building effective working relationships within and outside of peer group, and within the community that contribute to the financial performance of the Branch and overall creditability of the Branch Manager.
Communicate the vision, mission, values and Citibanking experience principles clearly and consistently that will motivate the staff to deliver business results across all channels / segments.
4. CUSTOMER / FRANCHISE PERFORMANCE
Monitor quality and timeliness of service delivery to ensure client satisfaction and maximize sales.
Stay close to the market and customers and provide feedback to relevant departments to enable them to develop market, place products and programs.
5. COMMUNITY
Actively champion all Citigroup initiatives within the Branch and the local community.
Requirements:
High Integrity
B.A./B.S. in business (preferred)
Demonstrated ability to build, motivate and lead others
Strong people, process and project management skills
Proven ability to deliver results through others
Passion for meeting needs of clients/staff
Experience in Financial Services or Consumer Products Industry
