Client: Multinational Advertisement company which has more than 25 ppls in Shanghai The IT/MAC Support Technician will have a broad range of responsible for a current user base of 25+ employees including MAC and PC support, hardware set up, software installations, printers, WiFi, and security support.
· Provides front-line tech support to PC and Mac user base.
· Manages all hardware relating to PC Desktops and Mac's including day-to-day support, assistance on software installations, retirement of old hardware, and installation of new hardware.
· Assists in the orientation of new employees and movement of existing employees as it relates to all IT assets - computer, phone, voice mail, etc.
· Maintains and administer all printers.
· Supports, administers and manages vendor relationships.
· Manages and maintains the cell phone loaner pool which includes working in conjunction with the Finance Department on billing issues.
· Manage and support mobile device users (Blackberry, Treo, etc.) including configuration of devices to work with the WK network and general tech support.
Requirements
· 2-4 years experience hands on support of Macintosh OSX computers required.
· Hands on support experience with Adobe CS Applications required.
· Basic networking knowledge including Appletalk and TCP/IP required.
· Good English ability in both writen and oral, report to American manager in US
· Must be able to interact with users at all levels of the organization, as well as other W+K offices, communicating technical information in an easily understood fashion.
· Effective and experienced problem-solver with a proven ability for technical support in a fast-paced and creative environment.
· Excellent and proven organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple projects of varying scopes, complexity and urgency.
· Experience supporting Microsoft Office applications including Entourage desired.
· Calibration of printers, monitors, and scanners for color management preferred.
· Maintenance and basic repair of color printer/copier equipment preferred.
· Experience supporting Windows XP Pro clients a plus.
· Knowledge of Prepress workflow and practices a plus.
· Experience with Final Cut Pro and related video and sound tools in a production environment a plus.
· Experience with web design tools and basic website administration a plus.
