Position Summary:

• Cost effective vehicle homologation for imported vehicles of BMW Group
  
• Representation of BMW at authorities and other external organizations.
  
• Influence vehicle legislation on behalf of BMW

Major Responsibilities:

• Lobbying in order to in influence legislation process regarding homologation requirement.
  
• Establishing of good relationship to all authorities involved in the homologation process.
  
• Compilation and translation (Chinese to English/German) of all relevant homologation requirements enforced by the different authorities.
  
• Prepare and support implementation of legal requirement for motor vehicles (co-operation with Homologation department at BMW AG and any other release department if required)

Basic Requirements:

• University degree in mechanical / automotive engineering or comparable educational background
  
• User of software like MS-Office, Windows etc.
  
• Chinese and English fluent; knowledge of German is an advantage
  
• Ability to work in a team, good communication skills
  
• Chinese not mandatory, intensive knowledge about local mentality and conventions
  
• Intercultural skills
  
• Experience in the field of automotive industry, suppliers, technical services, test laboratories etc., preferable related to motor vehicle homologation
