Key Objectivies:
To optimise the overall performance of the dealer network through active and systematic improvement of the processes within the dealerships.
Targets and competences of the function
Assist the Field Force Sales & Marketing Manager in all tasks to support the set up development and implementation of a sales department in new BMW dealerships in China as well as the implementation of BMW sales processes.
The purpose of this assignment is training on the job in order to acquire knowledge and skills and to become a capable partner for BMW dealers and BMW China.
The Field Force Parts Specialist assists in:
- Advice and support the dealer management in recruiting and forming a sales team.
- Introduce the basic processes for ordering, sales and sales management.
- Transfer of basic knowledge and skills to the sales manager and the sales team.
Specific tasks
- To assist and acquire knowledge and skills to advice the dealer management on set up an Sales and Marketing department in a new BMW dealership in China
- To assist and acquire knowledge and skills to advice on developing a concept to ensure the delivery plan (defining sales areas for sales consultants, identifying sales potentials, defining number of sales consultants, address management)
- To assist developing an action plan for sales and marketing
- To assist and acquire knowledge to support in defining the number of sales and marketing people and using BMW remuneration system
- To assist and acquire knowledge and skills to support in using the BMW recruiting process for sales and marketing people (defining job profiles, recruiting interviews, selection of applicants)
- To assist and acquire knowledge and skills to support in setting up a sales management (individual target agreements for sales consultants, steering by key figures, sales meetings, organization / process of address management)
- To assist and acquire knowledge and skills to support the implementation and using of a systematic address management (generating, allocating recording, qualifying) according to BMW specifications
- To assist and acquire knowledge and skills to introduce sales processes and therefore needed tools (ordering, sales initiation, need analysis, car presentation, demo drive, negotiation, sales closure, handover)
- To assist and acquire knowledge and skills to implement a measurement of KPIs specified by BMW China (e.g. number of demo drives, number of addresses etc.)
- To assist and acquire knowledge to coordinate a training plan with dealer management and BMW China for sales and marketing people
- To assist and acquire knowledge and skills for transferring knowledge and skills to sales manager and sales team (knowledge of ordering process, basic product knowledge, knowledge and skills of sales processes e.g. conversation, need analysis, demo drive, negotiation, customer benefits, sales closure, handover)
- To assist and acquire knowledge and skills to support in organizing the opening ceremony
- To assist and acquire knowledge and skills to support the dealer management, sales and marketing manager in defining a local marketing strategy according to BMW policy
- To assist and acquire knowledge and skills to support the dealer management, sales and marketing manager to set up and implement the customer care cycle (sales and service)
- To assist and acquire knowledge to support the decoration of the showroom according to BMW policy and implementing the usage of marketing material process
- To assist and acquire knowledge and skills to support the formation, planning and implementation of promotional, direct marketing and general marketing activities in consultation with BMW China
- To assist and acquire knowledge to transfer knowledge about BMW to all new employees of a BMW dealership

Studies/specialisation/education
- University degree in Science, Business Administration, Marketing, Economics or equivalent.
- Car sales experience (Sales and Sales Management) preferable.
Additional knowledge (languages ...)
- English is a must. (spoken and written)
- Chinese is a must. (Spoken and written).
- Ability to translate English / Chinese.
- Good experience in IT-Knowledge (e.g. MS Office, mail, Internet)
