Department: Parts Logistic

1. Key objective

• To support warehouse daily IT operations to meet business objectives.
• To look into further enhancements of the systems to improve efficiency.

2. Main Tasks

• Ensure 100% system, WAN and LAN availability.
• Ensure 100% availability and functionality of IT hardware in office and warehouse (PC, printer, scanner, remote frequency system, laptops, telephone system, file servers and e-mail server)
• Planning of IT requirements and replacement of IT hardware
• Budget planning and controlling for IT hardware
• Identify system requirements, hardware and software needs, procedural changes, Local Area Network requirements, etc.
• Take responsibility for all development activities i.e. functional plans, system plans, system design and adjustment, program testing, user training, system implementation, development of procedures workflow management.
• Trouble-shooting of system problems in co-operation with BMW Hotline
• Training of warehouse staff on IT processes and introduction of new IT processes.
• Control all aspects of system development, progress reports and development status.
• Purchasing of IT hardware for warehouse operations
• Identify and implement system process improvements.
• Ensure system, WAN, LAN availability as well as operational IT hardware in the warehouse at any time.

3. Know-how

Education:

• Degree in computer science or similar qualifications
  Additional Qualifications:
• IT-knowledge (MS Office, SAP R/3).
• English business fluent, Chinese native.
• Chinese written and spoken perfectly.
• Driver's licence passenger car.

Job experience:

• Must have experience with SAP R/3 (SD, MM and WM-Modules)
• At least 3-5 years professional experience in all aspects of IT industry with an in-depth knowledge of IT Technology, mainframe and personal systems, networks, etc.
