General Purpose

Acts as an internal\external specialist of agreed area including support and facilitation in quality improvement activities and projects.

Main Responsibility Areas：

Manages quality related issues and actively solves quality problems in internal\external processes, including related project management. Responsible for investigation, selection and facilitation of existing and new quality methods and tools for wider use. Assures compliance to in-house and\or external specifications and standards e.g. ISO regulations. May support and coach other quality specialists.

Key Tasks

Manages and leads incoming quality assurance activities and non- conforming material inventory in the factory.
Manages component quality improvement processes in the factory.
Analyses component quality issues, handles claims.
Contributes to the supplier quality improvement process.
Trains and coaches factory and iHUB personnel in component quality issues.
Contributes to Incoming Quality Control strategy and ensures its implementation.
Cooperates in local and global quality management projects.

Requirements:

• candidate sld possess one of the following , with background in Process / Quality of the respective industry ) :-
7 or more years of experience in a pwb and flex-pcb mfg industry, with exposure in process and quality
7 or more years or more in a plastic mould design n fabrication industry, with exposure in tooling design / mould fabrication / materials identification; or
7 or more years or more in the plastic moulding industry as a process or quality engineer; those come from thin-film moulding background will be preferred
Good exposure ( 7 or more years ) in metal industry, esp in progressive stamping / metal sheet processing / plating
• experience in dealing with suppliers / customers will be an added advantage
• good communication skill with good report writing as well as good analytical skill
• must be hands-on and willing to travel at short notice
