Main Responsibilities:

1.Based on process requirements, develop tooling concepts and make derived tooling designs that are fit for use in mass production to guarantee optimal quality of industrial processes resulting in maximum product quality.

2.Generate complete document package of tooling by modeling and drawing in 3D CAD environment, using standardized parts and working methods in order to guarantee optimal functionality and manufacturability of parts and assembled tool to guarantee lowest costs (Initial toolcosts, maintenance, process costs) and shorten lead-times.

3.Insert document package into PDM system to enable data control and data accessibility to all stakeholders.

4.Maintain contact with tooling suppliers in order to guarantee optimal processing.

5.To manage the design process per tool in order to guarantee finished designs within the committed time frame.

6.Advise the Module Design Engineer (MDE) and Project Manager (PM) within a Project team about the manufacturability (assembly process and handling during testing process) for the design of a LCD module, in order to influence the design of a LCD module in a way that optimal assembly at lowest costs (cycle time) with regard to functionality is guaranteed.

7.To document all improvements within the designs of tooling with regards to module designs and to present these improvements in functional group meetings in order to get leverage for whole group.

8.Support the engineers with their daily work.

9.Give the tooling coordinator technical assistance during design intake and review of outsourced tool designs.

 

Job Requirements:

1.Bachelor degree , majored in mechanical design or equipment design

2.More than 3 years relevant experiences , like mechanical design , tooling design or equipment design and have basic understanding of electronics

3.At least 2 years Pro-E using experiences (MUST), Pro-Wildfire is preferred

4.Be familiar with machining process and ordinarily used material , such as aluminium alloy , POM , stainless steel and so on 

5.Have good knowledge on standard components like Festo , SMC , Misumi or NHK etc.

6.More than 2 years of working experiences in multi-national company

7.Able to manage the suppliers and build a good relationship with them

8.Excellent teamwork and be initiative

9.Good project management skill and team management experience

10.Strong communication skill , both Mandarin and English
