Position: Senior Packaging Designer 高级包装设计师
Location: R&D Centre Beijing

Job Description:

• Handles the conceptualisation and development of consumer driven packaging of products, many of which have a higher-than-average level of difficulty, complexity or breadth of scope, or for which few precedents exist. This includes interpreting consumer / business needs and creating aspects of form, aesthetics, physical and psychological interfaces between users, products and system compatibility where required.
• Determines materials , construction, mechanisms, shapes, color, surface finish, manufacturing processes and packaging in cooperation with other business functions that are involved in the new product development process.
• Flexibility to contribute to, but then work within, th e criteria established for the project by other business functions.

Requirements:

• M.B.A. or B.A. Degree in Industrial Design
• More than 3-5 years experience in packaging area, preferably in Packaging or FMCG product desig n
• Strong verbal & written communication / presentation skills in English.
• Understand and utilise all available electronic communication tools, (v-mail, e-mail, MS Office, including Microsoft Project)
• Must eff ectively network with internal and external resources to provide support for package development projects to promote design within the Nestle corporate culture.
• Ability to work on multiple projects across all product categories on a global basis
• Must be prepared to travel on a global basis when necessary.
