Job description:
(i) Mechanical design and review of new products and cost reduction engineering through re-design efforts;
(ii) Mechanical support for production qualification and ongoing process enhancements through part and process consolidation, technology integration and component price negotiations;
(iii) Design support and cycle time enhancement for Injection Mold and Metal Stamping Tool qualification;
(iv) System and component level Thermal, Environmental and Agency Compliance development and qualification.
Deliverables: Product Spec input, ME schedule, Mechanical part drawings, Inspection drawings with critical parameters, Mechanical evaluation plan, PCB outline, ME technical objectives, BOM.
Qualification:
(i) Demonstrated recent Pro/Engineer experience, including injection molded part design;
(ii) Demonstrated ability to work to schedule and give input to design reviews, ability to verify design and reliability through examination of test results, design troubleshooting skills including assembly debugging of prototype and production parts, high volume manufacturing floor exposure.
(iii)Demonstrated the ability to manage multiple design activities and development schedules;
(iv) Proficiency in the use of file management tool (ex: Agile).
(v) Good English skills both in oral & written and willing/able to travel to USA.
