Windows Live China (WLC) is building a world-class engineering teams in Beijing, The team will partner closely with teams in Redmond while having the full responsibility and ownership for building Windows Live products and services. 

Windows Live China (WLC) is looking for highly motivated and experienced SDE/T Lead to be based in Beijing.  In this role, you will be leading a test team to drive test design and execution of major projects in Windows Live China.

Responsibilities:

• Leading a test team to drive test plan, test design & execution of major projects in Windows Live China 
• Hands-on creating test plan and other test design documents, writing test cases and test code
• Driving and building test tools and test environment to improve productivity
• Ensuring the security and performance of the product
• Keeping track of the quality status and holding the quality bar
• Working with Operation team to ensure the smooth deployment
• Providing technical leadership to the team
• Providing guidance & mentorship to junior SDE/Ts and testers
• Collaborating on functional requirements and project scheduling
• Tracking your team’s schedule & deliverables
• Working closely with PM and Dev team to meet the project schedule

Qualifications:

• Strong technical background with 5+ years experience of software test
• Knowledge and experience in the following areas: statistical analysis of data, numerical and stochastic optimization, web technologies, SQL, C/C#, .NET Framework, large scale data processing, object-oriented design and development, data warehousing and data mining, test automation framework (such as WTT or equivalent) 
• 2+ years test lead role and proven track record of managing a team throughout at least one complete product cycle
• Proven ability to lead test of high-performance, large scale, reliable, and complex system
• Strong technical leadership, aptitude & problem solving abilities
• Demonstrated ability to independently lead a team of test engineers
• Full understanding of software development cycle 
• Ability to work under pressure to meet the project schedule
• Fluent verbal & written English
• Excellent communication, coordination and interpersonal skills
• BA/BS degree or above in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent technical experience is required
