We’re looking for an experienced Program Manager who is hungry to work on a team at the center of the mobile revolution, in a location that lives and breathes the mobile experience.

The LEX Mobile Team reports directly into the Windows Live Experience organization in Redmond as one of the core Windows Live feature teams. We are focused on delivering first class browse and sms experiences for Windows Live services. We’re building apps for global deployment.

We need an experienced Program Manager capable of making a big contribution to our products as an individual contributor, while helping to provide mentoring to the junior members of the team. In order to succeed in this role you must have a track record that demonstrates that you are energetic, passionate about building world-class software, good at cross-group collaboration, and very skilled at feature design. The ideal candidate is inspired to make software better and has strong design skills in the areas of functionality, architecture, and user interfaces.

Qualifications include at least 4 years of work as a technical PM having shipped products or large scale web solutions. Extra attention will be given to candidates with a background in mobile development, those who can speak Chinese, and those with previous work experience in China (preferably involving multinational development). Skills involving growing and coaching teams as well as managing products across time zones will be a plus. Proficiency with development frameworks and methodologies is beneficial - MSF, Scrum, Agile and the like. Desired technical skills include familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server, SOAP, XML, C#, C++, Object-oriented programming and ASP.NET technologies. Finally, all of the other standards apply: self-motivated, passionate, driven, strong collaborative skills and a love for big challenges. A BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline is required.
