Position:   College Program Specialist
Location:   Beijing
Reporting to:   Senior Staffing Manager

About the Role
The primary purpose of the College Program Specialist is to strategize and execute superior campus recruitment programs to meet the company’s aggressive hiring demands from campus. Reporting to the Senior Staffing Manager, you will:

· Strategize and implement superior programs on the campus recruitment space to have an early traction of outstanding students from key universities

· Develop solid relationship with universities, conduct feasibility studies on program such as scholarship in China to continue to have a strong foothold with universities and students

· Enhance existing program currently in place and optimize the impact of programs on universities

· Work with internal stakeholders which comprises of the Staffing team and Business groups in understanding their demand on interns hiring and bridging this demand with world class programs.

· Consult with internal clients on interns utilization to meet both short and long term needs of different business groups

· Key member to work in partnership with the staffing team of different business group in rolling out program to the business level

· Key member in managing yearly campus recruitment effort which entail strategizing recruitment effort, execution of activities on campus, management of campus recruitment vendors, driving consolidation of campus recruitment effort for Microsoft China

· Measure and analyzes key recruiting metrics for the purpose of managing recruiting effectiveness and educating our clients

· Identify ways to maintain traction of ensure that applicants to Microsoft are treated in a professional and consistent manner, maintaining and improving upon the company’s image and reputation, even when candidates are rejected.

· Close collaboration with the Campus recruitment team in driving different aspect of the College program such as marketing, campaign roll out as well as report generation
About You

· Must have a Bachelor's Degree at a minimum.
· Must have a minimum of 5-8 years experience in Staffing - ideally in the campus recruitment space
· Ideally will have 3-5 year in-house staffing experience with a high tech multinational company.
· Fluent English speaking and writing skills required. Fluent Mandarin speaking and writing skills.
· Requires an approachable personal style, effective problem analysis.
· Strong ability to influence and make a impact. Must be able to consult and not an order taker.
· Strong PC skills in Windows applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
· Must be a self-starter, able to work independently and as part of a team.
· Requires strong negotiating, influencing and interpersonal skills.
· Demonstrated discretion in dealing with highly confidential matters.
· Must be able to travel as required mainly between Shanghai and Beijing and more during the yearly campus recruitment season.
