We are looking for an electrical engineer to be part of Xbox 360 console development team at Microsoft Asian Center for Hardware in Shenzhen, China.  The team is responsible for supporting Xbox console production including FA on failed systems, yield and quality improvement, and qualifying components to be used in the console.

The candidate will need to understand Xbox 360 console design changes and testing environment, and work with contract manufacturers to support new product introductions and troubleshoot production issues. He/she will also work with other functional groups to improve test process and coverage.  Other responsibilities include conducting experiments to root cause failures, evaluating new functional tests and deploying debug tools.

Qualifications:

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering (MS preferred)
• Minimum 7 years in industry with experience in designing, testing and FA on complex systems.
• Solid understanding in computer architecture and system design. 
• Knowledge in digital/analog circuit design and analysis.
• Familiar with in C/C++ and scripts.
• Familiar with manufacturing environment with experience in mass production, yield improvement and test equipments.
• Familiar with data mining and analysis (e.g. JMP, SQL) a big plus.
• Excellent communication skill and must be able to express ideas effectively in verbal and written forms.
• Enthusiastic, motivated and self critical.

Domestic and international travel may be required.
