Title: Lead Software Development Engineer in Test

The RxD Customer organization is looking for a highly experienced and motivated SDET Lead to join its Global Sales Platform (GSP) and Global Service and Support Platform (GSSP) deployment projects in the Microsoft IT China.  In this position, you will be responsible for performing analysis of functional specifications and technical specifications of the global systems, putting in place/ refining offshore test infrastructure and processes, developing effective test plan and test scenarios, working very closely with program management and development team to deliver quality products on time, and managing the collaboration with other onshore and offshore test teams.

The SDET Lead position in China is also responsible for ensuring key Off Shore (OF) projects are meeting deadlines, having regular meetings with OF vendors, interviewing vendor staff, handling escalations from OF vendors, monitoring and reviewing OF vendor status reports and scorecards. This position will also assist in the ramp-up of the China RxD Customer test team in support of the Microsoft IT China..

Responsibilities include:
· Participate in functional, integration and performance testing planning
· Drive offshore testing strategy
· Staff offshore testing resources
· Define test plan, test scenarios and test cases for offshore testing components
· Responsible for offshore testing assignments
· Monitor and report on testing progress
· Ensure testing meets specifications and quality criteria are satisfied for test activities
· Quantify and report on risk and quality metrics
· Work closely with onshore PM, Dev Lead, Test Manager and Production Support, and drive issues to resolution
· Build, manage and grow a test team of China RxD Customer well as vendor teams

Qualifications include:
· B.A. / B.S. in information systems and/or software engineering / computer science or related field and 8 years related experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
· Strong coding skills in C# and in-depth knowledge of SQL
· At least 4 years of professional software automation testing experience in functional testing, integration testing and performance testing
· Experience with any of these software technologies is a big plus: VSTF, WCF, WPF, BizTalk, .Net Framework, Web Services, MSCRM and SQL database
· Knowledge of and experience with various software engineering processes and testing methodologies.
· Comprehensive understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) process development and product deployment across an enterprise.
· Ability to anticipate and effectively deal with problems and roadblocks
· Able to lead a team of high caliber test engineers
· Experience of leading people and project through a complete delivery cycle
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  Mastery of the English Language
· Experience working with companies in the United States
