The RxD Customer Group is looking for a highly experienced and motivated Senior Program Manager to manage its Global Sales Platform (GSP) and Global Service and Support Platform (GSSP) deployment projects in MSIT China R&D. In this position you will manage and execute worldwide IT projects across all phases of the software development lifecycle. This includes coordination and communication across multiple groups and/or vendor organizations to ensure project objectives are being met and project status, issues and progress is communicated to all stakeholders. This position is accountable for end to end milestones for RxD Customer IT development projects.
Responsibilities include:
· Internal communication and management of overall program scope, schedule, budget.
· Resource planning and management to insure teams are operating in a high performance work team environment
· Oversight of project scope definition and analysis through delivery of multiple projects spread across numerous build cycles.
· Coordination across a team of Analysis, Development, Test, QA, and Production Support groups for timely delivery of releases.
· Reporting program progress to members of workgroup, director, and management of other internal groups.
· Identification and management of major program risks and issues and working to mitigate the risks and preventing the issues from negatively impacting the program.
· Facilitating internal project team communication.
· Managing vendor/supplier/contract resources and relationships on a program
· Working closely with other program managers, technical operations staff, IT managers, development leads and customer group.
· Ensuring compliancy with privacy, security and performance guidelines.
Qualifications include:
· B.A. / B.S. in information systems and/or software engineering / computer science or related field and 8 years related experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
· 5+ years of program management experience.
· Ability to lead a team of high caliber program managers, requirements analysts, developers and testers.
· Ability to motivate and focus team members on the highest priority objectives
· Comprehensive understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) process development and product deployment across an enterprise.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Mastery of the English Language
· Experience working with companies in the United States
· Strong judgment, problem resolution, team building, negotiation, budgeting, decision-making skills, and the ability to work under continual deadline pressure required.
· PMP or Project Management certified (Nice to have).
