Search and Advertising Platform Group is building a world-class engineering team in Shanghai. We are a global extension and an integral part of the online services offering of Microsoft focused on ecommerce initiatives.

The Shanghai Commerce Platform Group is responsible for delivering a world-wide Commerce payment foundation, and Commerce Experience platform. This platform is in the front and center of all Microsoft services (such as Windows Live, Xbox Live, Office Live, OneCare, etc…). We are looking for a highly motivated Program Manager.

Key Areas of Responsibility:
Work closely with the program management and development teams to drive quality through design and implementation
Participate in product spec reviews, code reviews, design, triage, scheduling, and other product development process
Implementing automated test cases and test tools
Drive key quality metrics including product performance, scalability, operability, etc.
Perform debugging and troubleshooting in variety of local and remote testing environments as well as in the live site.
Drive and conduct integration testing via email and conf call with the 3rd party payment providers located in world wide.
Help improve the team’s test tools and test infrastructure.

Qualifications:

Strong passion for and commitment to software quality
2+ years experience in software development and proven track record throughout at least one complete product cycle
A proven track record of shipping high quality, scalable software
Excellent communication and collaboration skills; a “lead by example” attitude.
A deep understanding of software development process, demonstrated proficiency in designing test cases and contributing to effective test planning, demonstrated ability to work effectively both within a team and cross-group to drive identification and resolution of issues to ship under tight deadlines.
Prior product development and in depth, working knowledge of C\C++, .NET/C#, XML, SQL and IIS.
Hands-on knowledge of debugging and scripting is a plus.
A BA/BS degree or above in Computer Science or a related technical field
