Job’s Purpose

This role is critically important to the successful operation of the PRC, Taiwan, HK (GCR) Services organization as it will be the key driver for enterprise services growth and successful alignment with GCR sales organization. This role will be responsible for the overall GCR Enterprise Services business results and will be part of the GCR Leadership team.

 

Summary of Scope and Responsibilities:

  Services Management
o Develop, orchestrate & execute comprehensive multi-year Services strategy for key segments and industries.
o Develop, orchestrate & execute on the Customer Partner Experience strategy to achieve targets
o Establish strong relationships with GCR Sales Management and Subsidiaries general management to ensure an integrated approach to engaging key accounts and partners.
o Understand competitive positioning and initiatives in the Enterprise services market and develop strategies that anticipate or react appropriately to competitive market place.
o Drive MS technology and accelerate production adoption in enterprise customer segment by increase penetration of relationship services
o Responsible for taking a visible leadership role in driving EPG sales alignment
o Instill the importance of pipeline discipline across the region and drive a consistent and systematic approach to revenue forecasting.

  Business Management
o Provide inputs into periodic regional business reviews and annual business plan.
o Establish and monitor budgets for operating and capital expenditure.
o Provide leadership and direction to improve Sales alignment, One Microsoft account planning orchestration with efficiency and successful execution
o Provide strategic input into the setting of the region’s priorities and goals with CVP/COO and GCR Board.

  People Leadership & Management:
o Build a world-class Enterprise services group.
o Develop appropriate people, training and recruitment strategies/plans to attract, develop and retain top performers & skills.
o Act as a role model for values, ethics, professional conduct and belief in the Microsoft culture. 
o Efficiently use and deploy marketing and sales resources.
o Work with management to create a culture and environment in which people can excel.

Candidate Requirements:
  Relevant Services Management experience:
o Minimum 15-18 years of relevant experience in technology/software industry with at least 5 yrs in direct services management experience in the GCR Region
o In-depth understanding of GCR markets with strong emphasis on the key business and cultural differences between business environments
o Highly preferred experience:
§ Enterprise Services management, especially in Professional consulting business
§ Enterprise Customer segment and partner management
§ Enterprise customer networks of relationships at the senior &/or executive level
§ At least 5 years in similar functional leadership role with full P&L responsibility
  People management experience:
o Minimum 5 years of people management experience in managing large teams
  Academic qualifications:
o Bachelor’s Degree minimum; Master’s Degree a strong plus
  Ability to speak and write Mandarin would be an added advantage
