Do you want to make a major contribution to Microsoft’s bottom line?  Are you looking for a large challenge in one of the fastest growing markets in the world?  Does building web services for scale and enterprise level usage and service interest you?  If so the Ad Platform China (APC) team based in Beijing would like to talk to you.  We are need of experienced Software Design Engineer in Test Leads to head up our analytics team, responsible for gathering and analyzing customer data across every Windows and Windows Live property which serves as the basis of the forecasting and ad pricing model for the entire company.  APC uses a variety of technologies but we are most interested in technical, hands on individuals who are interested in managing a team size of 4-7 employees.  We are an adopter of agile development principles and the concept of feature teams—all leads will play a major role not only in their discipline but in the business direction and planning of the team as a whole.

Interested candidates should have six or more years industry experience with at least three years in a management role.  Technical qualifications include expert level experience in either C++ or C# with a working knowledge of SQL being a big plus.  Candidates should have completed multiple product cycles, have been in or are familiar with a test role (developers encouraged to apply) and measuring quality across multiple product lines required.  Excellent oral and written communication skills in English required, ability to speak Mandarin a plus but not a requirement for the job.  A BA or BS in Computer Science or a related discipline is required although a Masters degree or equivalent education preferred.  Prior work experience in an enterprise level operation that supported 10,000 or more customers is encouraged.  Proven ability to recruit and retain top talent preferred.
