The online services team at MSN China R&D group has been looking for a Program Manager as a driving force to provide the most challenging and exciting MSN/Windows Live products and services in China , e.g. Windows Live Messenger, MSN Portal, etc. The team will have the full responsibility and ownership for building online products and services in China . The team may also partner with teams at Microsoft/MSN to promote MSN and Windows Live services.

Driven by quality and customer satisfaction, you will be self-motivated and an excellent problem solver. You will have great cross-group skills, understand the complete end-to-end product development process and have a proven record of leading a team to deliver multiple products on schedule. You will have experience leading a product team, delivering high visibility web applications and services. You will be able to use your previous experience and learnings to rapidly adapt to new situations.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but not limited to: work with biz team to understand market requirements; manage and guide the online services team in planning, design, and project management on best practices and processes; write feature/functional specifications; track project schedule and risk, etc; technically engage with local partners, review plan, spec, and implementation of outsourced projects.

Qualifications:

• 5+ experience of commercial software development.
• 3+ years of experience of software project management
• Experience for designing and architecting scalable web solutions
• Proven deep technical skills in Windows Programming, .NET technologies, C#, ASP.NET and XML/XSLT, HTML/DHTML/CSS, SQL Server and multiple browser types & configurations
• Experience of Silverlight or Flash development is also desirable.
• Strong leadership in the past working experience.
• A BA/MS degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline
• Experience on cross group collaboration, communication
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
