Work Location: Bohai Bay

Purpose:

• Responsible for all offshore analysis of fluids related to Bohai production facilities.

Accountabilities and End Results:

Closely monitor the process operating status by providing timely and accurate lab analysis.

Primary Functions:

• Carry out day-to-day sampling and analysis activities for crude oil, produced water and fuel gas systems under the guidance of the Production Supervisor.
• Perform sampling and analysis activities during offloading operations.
• Assist and liaise with onshore chemical and corrosion engineer on site related issue.
• Assist the Production Supervisor on all chemical related issues.
• Ensure all laboratory equipment is maintained/calibrated and inspected/certified to the required standard.
• Carry out PM on laboratory equipment.
• Ensure all chemicals utilised in the laboratory are stored and labelled correctly and all activities are carried out safely.
• Attain compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Safely carry out all reasonable duties assigned during any Emergency situation.

Critical Skills:

• High level knowledge of offshore hydrocarbon process systems.
• High level knowledge of chemistry with particular focus on hydrocarbons.
• Very familiar with offshore lab equipment.
• Self motivated.
• Good communication skills.
• Good English skills (reading and writing). Computer literate.

Reporting Relationships:

Reports to Production Supervisor.
