| Microsoft's Home and Entertainment Hardware Software Group is looking for an experienced Software |
| Design Engineer in Test. |
|
| • Primarily responsible for create and automate test plan and cases, maintenance, modification, and |
| additions to existing automated test cases, own feature(s), drive small release engine. In addition, |
| create tools to optimize test automation. Test cases are written in C# and/or C++. |
|
| • Candidates need to have strong programming skills in C#. Java experience can be substituted for |
| C# experience if C++ skills are strong. C++ experience is preferred but not required. |
|
| • Software testing experience is required. API testing experience is preferred. Experience with writing |
| test automation is required. Experience with owning features, release engines (as they will be |
| running one), managing resources are required. |
|
| • Experience scheduling and planning releases is a huge plus |

| • Strong test skills in the areas of test case creation (both manual and automated), test document creation |
| • Responsible for owning and running our MACH SW releases from planning to release. These |
| release cycles will be 3 – 4 months in duration and will be completed with support from our other |
| test team in Beijing China.
