| Job description: |
|
| • Main responsibilities are design of mechanical components and fixture assemblies for verification |
| test tools and automated manufacturing test systems using CAD software. |
|
| • Duties include design brainstorming and reviews, tolerance analysis, parts selection, detailed |
| drawings and specifications, repair and maintenance procedures, prototyping, vendor management, |
| troubleshooting, sustaining activities at factories and performing statistical analysis. |
|
| • Sustaining activities include factory liaison for ongoing production, supervising equipment |
|
| conversions and refurbishments, developing and managing spare parts, developing factory |
|
| procedures, factory audits, supervising maintenance and repair, factory personnel training, |
|
| operations manuals and inventory control. |
|
| Requirements: |
|
| • ME degree |
|
| • 5+ years design of complex electro-mechanical components and/or systems using Pro-e or |
| Solidworks CAD software. |
|
| • Experience with the high volume production factory environment |
|
| • Strong statistical analysis skills |
|
| • Able to create detailed drawings and communicate requirements to vendors |
|
| • Good English communication skills (both written and spoken) allowing face to face and phone |
| collaboration with American counterparts |
|
| • Can work independently and in a self directed manner |
|
| • Can work effectively with other disciplines |
|
| • Able to travel to USA to attend trainings, design reviews and meetings |
