| • Microsoft Xbox Test Engineering is expanding in China. We are looking for a key technical |
|
| contributor on the fast paced, high energy team responsible for developing and maintaining test |
| equipment software for the Xbox 360 game console. |
|
| • The position will be part of the Microsoft H/W team in Shenzhen; and collaborate with the test |
|
| engineering team in the USA to develop, deploy, and solve problems with software for factory test equipment. |
| • The candidate must not only know how to write low-level code to interrogate specific hardware |
| features, but also be able to work cross-functionally with SW and HW engineers. |
|
| • This position will work closely with key manufacturing partners on significant advances in design, |
| engineering, manufacturing, and test of high volume products. |
|
| Requirements: |
|
| • This position will involve delivering complex projects and solving technical problems under pressure |
| and quickly learning new hardware from the kernel/ driver OS levels. |
|
| • Self motivation and ability to solve ambiguous problems is required. Candidate must have |
|
| superior problem solving skills. |
|
| • Very strong C/C++/C# skills required. Experience developing tests for hardware testing and/or |
| programming low-level software to control hardware is preferred. |
|
| Ethernet, SQL, and database skills desirable. |
|
| • Require strong verbal and written technical communication skills in English and Mandarin. |
|
| • Must have good interpersonal skills. Cantonese skills a plus. |
|
| • Occasional lifting and/or carrying objects (40 pounds maximum) |
|
| • A Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronic |
|
| Technology, or equivalent field of studies with at least 3 years working experience. |
|
| • Job location at Microsoft Asia Center for H/W (MACH) in Guangdong, Shenzhen; and will require |
| frequent travel to manufacturing facilities located in Guangdong Province. |
|
| • Travel internationally to the USA for extended periods of time will be required. |
