| Job description: |
|
| · This position understands the engineering design verification requirements |
|
| and ensures that theyare met in the manufacturing process. Successful candidate |
|
| will manage the product production transfer and release through Release |
|
| to Manufacturing process. |
|
| · As required, provides sustaining engineering support to existing products |
|
| by working with the engineering, development and manufacturing teams |
|
| to resolve technical issues. |
|
| · Actively participates in yield improvement by working to identify and drive |
|
| to resolution product and production issues. |
|
| · Ensures that our manufacturing partners receive the required level |
|
| of product training. |
|
| · This position must be skilled in a wide range of activities from |
|
| manufacturing engineering and new product introduction to the designing and |
|
| managing experiments with contract manufacturers in southern China. |
|
| · In order to be successful in this position, this individual must effectively |
|
| collaborate with both the contract manufacturer and a variety of peer groups |
|
| across the organization, including, but not limited to, Manufacturing Test, |
|
| Quality, Hardware Development, Finance, Supply Chain, and Compliance. |
|
| · This position is responsible for a wide range of activities. The successful candidate will have |
|
| significant experience and/or expertise in the following areas: |
|
| · Manufacturing engineering. Excellent understanding of high volume electronics manufacturing |
|
| processes. |
|
| · New Product introduction. Understands entire product development process related to high volume consumer electronics |
|
| |
|
| · Electrical Engineering. Good understanding of circuit concepts and standard board design practices. |
|
| Demonstrates this understanding through the analysis, review and debug of existing systems, new and existing board designs. |
|
| |
|
| · Helping to define and sustain the business processes and tools necessary to support new product launches while continuing to support a high volume sustaining production environment |
|
| |
|
| · Assurance of vendor and product compliance to relevant criteria |
|
| · Financial acumen to assist with cost reduction and improvement activities |
|
| · Experience working with engineers and product development professionals |
|
| · Good knowledge of manufacturing business in computer peripherals or consumer electronics is |
|
| essential |
|
| · Fluent speaking in English is pre-requisite. |

| Requirements: |

| · Minimum BS/MS in Electrical Engineering. |
|
| · A solid understanding of core engineering principles, circuit design and analysis are required. |
|
| · Three to five years of experiencing designing, implementing, and shipping products of medium to high complexity. |
|
| |
|
| · Familiarity with PC, embedded system architectures hardware and software a plus. |
|
| · Strong communication skills and must be able to clearly express technical concepts in verbal |
|
| and written forms. |
|
| · Must be a self-starter and able to perform independently with remote supervision |
|
| · Ability to speak fluent English is pre-requisite as the candidate must frequently communicate with peers in US with clear concise English command. |
