| Job description: |
| · Propose, define and present product and platform specifications and features. |
| · Ensure that designs meet established specifications, cost, timeline and development budgets. |
| · Manage products development with different business models. |
| · Circuit design for products as well as platforms. Including Architecture, function modules, and interface. |
| · Conduct design reviews. Be aware of short term and long term consideration. Be sure it to be within different user scenario tolerance, testable and manufacturable. |
| · Ensure good documentation of the design as well as version control. |
| · Manage project scope and risks. |
| · Manage internal and outsourced development efforts. |
| · Troubleshoot and analyze technical problems and recommend solutions. |
| · Collaborate with marketing and technology teams and participate in project reviews. |

| Requirements: |
| · Strong leadership skills in decision making, influencing others, forming consensus and managing conflicts. Well prepared to lead team efforts. |
| · BS in Electronics, telecommunication, Computer Engineering or equivalent is required. |
| · 10 years experience in direct hardware or firmware design & development. |
| · At least 3 years experience as system engineer or system architecture. |
| · Solid communication skills in English. Oral, written and presentation skills in English is a must. Chinese language is a plus. |
| · Good understanding of hardware design at component and circuit level. |
| · Understanding of embedded system architecture. |
| · Understanding of microprocessor architecture and real time FW design and development. Knowledge of Sunplus, Holtek, Motorola, and Intel processors is a plus. |
| · Knowledge of the industrial protocols that you have worked on. |
| · Knowledge of USB, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi protocols is a plus. Broad knowledge of ITU protocols & IETF protocols is a plus. |
| · Willing to travel to USA and or other countries. |
| · Experience of managing Taiwan OEM suppliers is a plus. |
